On July 30, 2020, Allegheny County CYF awarded CSI Investigator Rocco Magnelli with the Good Apple 2020 award. Magnelli was nominated by individuals within the CYF organization as a result of the work he has done, and continues to do, with vulnerable and at-risk youth. Magnelli’s focus has been on assisting with cases involving human trafficking of juveniles. His dedication, attention, and attitude toward such sensitive cases has not gone unnoticed.
The nomination indicated, “Rocco diligently works on our most complex human trafficking cases in collaboration with the FBI, Homeland Security, and the Attorney General’s office…Rocco connects with our youth on a different level and helps to assure they make it safely to hospitals for their health and safety and follows through to make sure the child is placed and supported in every way to resources that DHS, CYF, victim services, and many other supports.”
Please join us in congratulating Rocco Magnelli!
