Diocese of Pittsburgh and CSI

CSI Corporate Security and Investigations Inc., has been named by the Diocese of Pittsburgh to staff their Office for Investigations and Monitoring CSI investigators will conduct any diocesan inquiry into allegations that would not be the scope of investigations by local law enforcement or other civil authorities. Additionally, CSI will be an integral part in the development of a supervised framework to monitor diocesan clergy who were permanently removed from the ministry due to substantiated allegations of child sexual abuse but cannot be dismissed from the clerical state due to age, illness, or canonical restriction, as determined by the Holy See. Jane Sarra, who oversees the diocesan Secretariat for the Protection of Children, Youth and Vulnerable Adults, will oversee the office.
